Staybridge Suites Grand Forks

Fabulous stay for 3 months with work, the staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome and like you are part of their family! Room cleaned daily to a good standard and “deep cleaned” once a week. The breakfast selection has a great breadth with both cold and cooked options. Thanks to everyone there!

The Staybridge was the perfect hotel for us! We stayed in the lovely and spacious 2 bedroom suite - we each had our own bathroom as well! The kitchen area was perfect for preparing babies bottles. Very spacious fridge and freezer area. The air conditioner was rock solid and the breakfast was delicious - many choices. An evening social was served on the evenings we were there as well! Delicious tacos and ravioli. We will definitely be back!

Hot hallways Lots of drama With Employees I personally think no one should get involved with anyone or work with your partner Worst hotel I’ll ever stay at point period! Everything is broken Rooms can be cleaned a little bit more But mostly was the heat! And some employees need to take care of hygiene

have stayed at Staybridge in may locations and this is the best one. I have read previous reviews but it appears that they have fixed the issues - from personnel to cleanliness North Dakota is a different place to come to and being across the street from a super busy event center makes this location a prime hotel. The staff is great, Music is especially helpful and the cook for social hour is fantastic. The breakfast is always good, even better on weekends with fresh strawberries. The only downside is that the windows don’t open to let air to the pool area and very hot during spring and summer. The other downside is not the hotels fault, but people do not watch their kids in pool area and they trash it. Constantly. Other than that - if you need something- they get it - like propane for grills or extra pillows or suggestions on where to go. The staff is awesome. Just have to say. - if something is wrong - let management know or staff and they will fix it.

Where do I start with this useless dirty overpriced hotel!!?? Me and my girlfriend stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. Everything looked overall dirty (bathroom)(glasses)(floors)(Stains on the walls and mattress) We had a rude awakening at 230am when the room was a sauna and the thermostat had a mind of its own! 89/90 degrees!! We tried to change the temp and nothing would work! We tried calling the front desk multiple times and any other numbers we could in the hotel with no one picking up for 20 minutes! Then went down talked to the front desk person which seemed super slow. He gave us another room but while we were moving our stuff of course the hotel keys weren't working so we were now stuck out of the room! We finally got the cards reset to come into also another dirty rough looking room with used toilet paper? Who knows if someone was in there slightly prior to us? I immediately started throwing up from the heat and the situation we were in. The next day we spoke to Carl which is the manager and said he couldn't comp us anything but we could check out. Now how could we check out when our event we were there for was across the street with all other hotels booked for the weekend! He essentially gave us 2 options leave without doing anything and sleep in the car or stay and deal with the terrible room/workers/management. With no choice we ended up staying knowing our trip was ruined! When the maintenance guy showed up (which is only there on weekends) Admitted in front of us and workers that the thermostat is broken and just blowing hot air and that he didn't even know how to fix it!!!?? How is this safe!? I'm not sure what kind of circus is being ran in this hotel but management/workers are useless and non caring people. What if there was an elderly couple or an infant in the room instead of us!!? The outcome would of been detrimental!! So far we have had no help, no money back and no concern for our wellbeing. Management should be ashamed and retrained or gone. By far the worst hotel experience. We will not stop until this is fixed! STAYAWAY FROM THE STAYBRIDGE!

My daughter made the reservation for us because I was there for a medical appointment and didn't want to take all the kids home so late. Never been so disappointed – right away I was questioning the hotel because the front desk area was not the best condition and the dining area that you could see from there was filthy with chairs at every table that had all the vinyl peeling off of them. Surprises me that they can't afford to replace their furniture; but the lady at the front desk was very very nice and helpful. We got up to the room but couldn't stay. The lights were all on initially which made me think maybe we'd been given someone else's room so I called out and walked around, but there was nobody in there and no luggage. However, the room was so dirty, there were unemptied trash cans, no towels, Food in the refrigerator, something spilled all over inside the refrigerator, and dirty dishes in a dirty sink. Someone else's room key was also on the desk. Went back downstairs to find out that they couldn't move us to another clean room for our size group, but they could move us to a different hotel they own. I considered it and looked it up online, but their review rating was actually lower than the hotel we were at already so that didn't sound good. The lady at the desk very kindly explained to me that their regular housekeeping staff had all left and they're stuck with a temp company but there a lot of the rooms that didn't get cleaned and apparently we were assigned one of those rooms that hadn't been cleaned since the last person stayed there. While the woman at the front desk was extremely apologetic and attempted to be helpful we decided to leave. We were guaranteed that the room fee was going to be reversed but here it is nearly a month later and my daughter never got her refund. When you know that you have no housekeeping, you shouldn't be renting out rooms in the first place and if you do rent them out, but people have to leave because of the unfit conditions you should definitely be refunding that money in a timely manner. As I said, it's almost a month later and she's still waiting.

We requested a room with a walk in shower when we booked by phone two weeks earlier. When we arrived at the check in time of 3:00pm the room wasn't ready.Note: this hotel has 98 rooms and only 3 housekeepers but we didn't know that at check in. We waited over ninety minutes until the assistant manager came out and said our room is ready so we went up to the fourth floor.Upon entering it had a tub not a walk in. We called the manager again who said he'd put us in a room on the third floor but it wasn't ready yet. Another hour wait while three housekeepers cleaned the room. By that time is was almost 6:00 pm. When we finally got into our room we were both too tired to go out and search for a restaurant so we ordered pizza. We stayed three days, never had the room cleaned, new towels supplied or bed made in all that time. That is considered light housekeeping if you're staying less than 7 days. If you are there for seven days you get the full service once. It was chaotic as the signs in the room told us one thing and the manager was telling us another. We were in a one bedroom suite with a television in the living room and one in the bedroom. The springs in the sofa were so bad that we had to stack pillows on the sofa so we could get to our feet. The only other option was a low, unraiseable office chair that had swivel arms so to get out of that one you had to grab onto the desk as the arms threw you off balance. The toilet and shower are separate in an enclosed space. The sink is out in full view of the bedroom. It's highly lacks any privacy. The water wouldn't drain in the sink nor would the stopper close. They have a big beautiful great room where breakfast is available. It was quite good and we ate there each morning. Nice selection of items. On Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, the hotel puts on a Social Hour from 5:30 to 7:30 pm offering snacks, several wines and beer all free to the guests. Everyone tipped the lady who was working the bar. One night it was Salisbury steak, mashed potatoes and gravy. The second night we ate there it was beef tacos and chocolate chip cookies. We're from Canada. The hotel flies three flags outside at the front door. Two were in good shape but the Canadian flag was ripped in half but still managing to fly. We reported that ato the desk. If it had been the USA flag that was ripped and torn, it would have been fixed immediately. We expected them to show a little respect to all the Canadians who drive past or stay at their hotel. The manager said he hadn't noticed (???) but would talk to corporate to have it replaced. I hope soon. Would I stay there again? Probably once more but if the problems were still there it will be the last time.
